The Music Stand provides innovative artistic expression, a unique style of entertainment that celebrates all aspects of the arts and cultures. Our concert series primary genre is jazz, creatively paired with other music styles, dance, acting, literature, and visual arts.

The concerts are open to all ages and last about 75-90 minutes.

Our concert programs are based on thematic concepts and feature the unique artistry of world-class musicians and performers in collaboration with The Music Stand founder, Arlington Jones – jazz maestro, composer, and Steinway Artist (www.arlingtonjones.com). Arlington Jones has an extensive background in music performance, education, and successful sold-out concerts as artistic music director and programmer. He also has an extraordinary appeal to diverse cultures and generations due to his prolific experience with traditional, contemporary, and classical music genres. Occasionally, we will also spotlight extraordinary young artists during a concert.

The Music Stand believes arts and cultural programs should be accessible to everyone because of the critical role they play in the enrichment and enhancement of our quality of life. Live music experiences develop appreciation, emotional wellness, and stimulate creativity in the minds of people of all ages. The heritage of music will not continue especially if the younger generations are not given the opportunity to appreciate it. Through the presentation of energetic and uplifting concert experiences, we aim to build a thriving arts community of musicians, artists, and music lovers.
